My favorite photo for September 28 is not only my favorite photo for today’s date but also one of my all time favorite images.

I was driving over Marshall Pass, not far from O’Haver Lake, and I came upon a very nice grove of aspen. I lay down in the middle of the aspen grove and shot straight up. It is one of my all time favorite tree images.

My second favorite image for today is early one morning at Bear Lake. Alpenglow was painting the mountains with vivid colors.

My third place image for September 28 is the golden aspen along Bear Lake Road, Rocky Mountain National Park.

Marshall Pass in southern Colorado and Bear Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park are both great photo locations.
