Sunset, Swimming Pool. September 5, 2015
We were visiting family in Texas and we all decided to head for the local swimming pool. As the sun set the beautiful light in the sky was reflected in the rippling water of the pool. This was an easy pick for my favorite photo taken September 5
The camera was a point and shoot, a Canon SX280 HS. Without a waterproof housing I wouldn’t risk a DSLR in the middle of a swimming pool.

Pine Bark. September 5, 2013
My second choice favorite photo was taken with an iPhone. A big pine tree stands in my mother-in-law’s front yard. I was intrigued by the rugged bark and grabbed a photo with my iPhone. I processed the image with some iPhone apps: Painteresque, Snapseed, and Photoshop Express.
