I was walking our dog and spotted this marble. I decided to see how close my iPhone could focus and chose to create this with the marble and my camera on the ground. I don’t know exactly why, but I really like this photo.

I used this photo in a photography workshop with a group of girl scouts and the moment this popped up on the screen one of them said “That’s REALLY cool.” So it’s not just me. This is my favorite image for May 8.
