Our dog Sunny didn’t sit, lay, or sleep on the back of the sofa until our “granddog” Jack came to visit. Jack loves the back of the sofa so Sunny picked up his back of the sofa habit from Jack. This is my favorite photo for today’s date.

You might as well get ready to see several photos of our dog Sunny. I’ve been looking ahead in my “favorite photos” folder and most days there is only one or two photos, and many of those photos are of Sunny.

There is a reason for that. I am not usually traveling to do landscape and nature photography between Thanksgiving and Christmas. With a few rare exceptions I’m not doing portrait photography either. The trips to visit family around Christmas haven’t started yet. But I do spend time with our dog every day when I am not on the road, and apparently, taking pictures of him.
