I was at a special event at the Kirtland Temple in Kirtland Ohio. My friend Lach was in charge of the Kirtland Temple Historic site, and he was making a presentation. This is my favorite photo for this date.
The Kirtland Temple is on the National Register of Historic Places. It was built in the 1830s by Joseph Smith, Jr. and his followers. It was called “The House of The Lord”. If you are in northeast Ohio and you are fascinated by historic buildings, it would be well worth your while to stop at the visitor’s center and take a tour.
This is the second time this building has showed up in this series. My fall photo of the Kirtland Temple is one of my favorites.
