I was out in my garden one day and spotted a bee among the coneflowers. I pulled out my iPhone and tried to get a good photo.
Most of the photos fell short in one way or another. The composition wasn’t quite right or the bee took off before my iPhone shutter clicked, or the the bee wasn’t in focus. Closeup photography with an iPhone can be iffy.
I kept at it until everything finally came together and I got a sharp image with the bee in a nice position. It is my favorite image for August 5.
