I was on my way home from Acadia National Park and spent part of a day checking out the scenery in southwest Vermont. The Shires of Vermont Scenic Byway is a beautiful drive in the fall.

Ansel Adams is one of my favorite photographers. From a far corner of the cemetery with clouds rolling in, this reminded me of the kind of image Ansel Adams would create. He would dramatically increase the contrast of some of his images, so I did the same thing with this image.
