In pottery class at SPEC, an instructor helps a camper at the wheel. This is my most favorite image for this date. I like the symbolism of experienced hands guiding younger hands.

In one of the day’s celebratory moments, a volunteer from the crowd ducks a bit as a professional bicyclist flies overhead.

The competition can get fierce. While some participants were involved in sports, others were involved in the arts in a painting class, a print making class, or rehearsing to put on a full scale musical at the end of the week.

It is always a treat when I get to be a photographer at SPEC.
