Christmas Ornament, Columbus Ohio. December 24, 2013.

After decorating our Christmas tree I did images of some of the the individual ornaments. For this exposure I zoomed the camera lens for about half the time the shutter was open. This is my favorite photo for today’s date.

This is my third fourth photo for this date. I was doing long exposures as I decorated the Christmas tree. I was walking around the tree with a string of lights as the camera shutter opened.

My second favorite photo for this date comes from a photo shoot with Kristina right after I decorated the tree. Why would a model and a photographer plan a photo shoot for Christmas eve? Because we live half a continent apart and it was the only date we could get together when she was home visiting family in Ohio for the holidays.

And despite the cold weather outside, we did a more casual, outside portrait. This is my third favorite photo for this date.
