I love autumn. It is my favorite season of Year.

Fall will officially begin today in the Northern Hemisphere at 7:05 pm CDT. That is when the sun will cross directly above Earth’s equator on its way south. The sun will be over Earth’s Southern Hemisphere until the first day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere.

Several years ago I went through my “favorite photos” folder and picked out all of my most favorite nature and landscape photos. Then I sorted them by month and by season. As you can see, I take more nature photos in the fall than in any other season.
