The message went something like this: “If I drive from St. Louis Missouri to Columbus Ohio, can we spend a few days working together?” I said yes and she came to Columbus. We created these images 18 years ago today, February 18, 2008.

Lyn happens to be trained as a movie/TV special effects makeup artist. Do you want to look like you were in an accident and have a broken bone sticking out of your leg? She can do that and make it look just like the real thing, bone, ripped skin, dried blood and all. Turn you into a Klingon? Of course. Make you look 40 years older? Easy. Make you look younger? She can do that too (within limits).

While she was in Columbus, my wife was hosting a women’s group meeting at our house. She asked Lyn to do a Hollywood makeup demo for the meeting program. It was fascinating.  At the meeting we showed these portraits that I had created of Lyn.
