Soleece picked out this red dress and we headed for my favorite brick wall with metal stairs to do some portraits.

When I do portraits I like to give people something to do, as opposed to just having them stand facing the camera with their arms hanging at their sides. I prefer to have their body at an angle to the camera and give them something to lean on or hold on to. These stairs with a hand rail gives them a place to sit, a rail to hold on to, or a wall to lean on.
