I spotted this interesting bend in the channel carved by the Colorado River in Arizona.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blog.jimdoty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/170404-Grand-Canyon-5D3-9902-w7.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-15675 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.blog.jimdoty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/170404-Grand-Canyon-5D3-9902-w7.jpg\" alt=\"The Grand Canyon, Arizona\" \/><\/a>Later in our flight we flew over the Grand Canyon.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blog.jimdoty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/170404-Navajo-Mountain-5D3-9945-w7.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-24098\" src=\"https:\/\/www.blog.jimdoty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/170404-Navajo-Mountain-5D3-9945-w7.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The last interesting sight before sunset was Navajo Mountain near the Arizona\/New Mexico state line.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blog.jimdoty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/170404-night-flight-5D3-9985-w7.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-24099\" src=\"https:\/\/www.blog.jimdoty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/170404-night-flight-5D3-9985-w7.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It was after dark when I photographed the night sky and part of the wing of our plane. We were over eastern Kansas.
