February 28, 2008.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>I began the day by backtracking a bit. From Buena Vista I went north on U.S. 285 just far enough to stop at a picnic area on a hill east of town. This is one of my favorite views of Mt. February 28, 2008.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>After getting my Mt. Princeton image, I went back south on U.S. 285. After crossing Poncha Pass, south of Poncha Springs Colorado, it enters the north end of the San Luis Valley. February 28, 2008.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>My goal was to shoot at Great Sand Dunes National Park. It is a great place to take pictures.
