My plan was to beat the storm to St. Ignace. I didn\u2019t quite make it. It was snowing like crazy north of Gaylord, and crossing the Mackinac Bridge was not fun. Fresh, new, powdery snow covered everything. It was a photographer\u2019s paradise. My favorite stop was Tahquamenon Falls State Park and I photographed the upper falls straight on and from the observation deck at the very lip of the falls.
