Sunset Light on El Capitan<\/p><\/div>\n

We spent most of the Christmas holiday in the Bay Area visiting family.\u00a0 When we left the Bay Area the morning of December 30, 1990, we decided to make a side trip to Yosemite before making the long drive home.<\/p>\n

Our car was acting up by the time we arrived in Yosemite Valley. Fortunately for us the auto repair shop is open 7 days a week. We spent the day in Yosemite Village while they worked on our car. It was late afternoon when our car was finally fixed so we had just a little time to drive around the valley, see the sights, and for me to take pictures.<\/p>\n

We all thought Yosemite was spectacular.<\/p>\n

El Capitan in the Moonlight.<\/p><\/div>\n

Before we left I took a few more photos of El Capitan in the moonlight. We drove out of Yosemite Valley, stopped for a late supper, and found a place to stay for the night. Our first trip to Yosemite was 35 years ago today. The next morning we headed east on the four day drive home. I was hooked on Yosemite.<\/p>\n
