Parents and other family members can order event photos at my Zenfolio site (link below).\u00a0 Most digital cameras create “long aspect ratio” files which print out at 4×6 inches, 8×12 inches, 12×18 inches and larger. But for artistic reasons some images look best as “standard aspect ratio” prints:\u00a0 4×5 inches, 8×10 inches, 11×14 inches, and larger. Prices are also determined by the aspect ratio. An 8×10 print is $5.99 and an 8×12 print is $6.99.<\/p>\n

When you order a print at Zenfolio you need to make sure you choose an aspect ratio that matches the photo you want. Zenfolio makes that easy by giving you “Best Fit” options. Here’s how to access that feature.<\/p>\n

Ava at Zenfolio.<\/p><\/div>\n

If you click on the photo of Ava in the gallery, this is what you will see with a long list of sizes on the right. But which sizes will best fit the photo?\u00a0 At the top right (at Zenfolio), click VISIT SHOP.<\/p>\n

Print options.<\/p><\/div>\n

After you click VISIT SHOP, these options show up. Under PRINTS, click “Best Fit”.<\/p>\n

Best Fit.<\/p><\/div>\n

You are now in the Best Fit options and the first option they show you is a “Small Print”.\u00a0 You can order 4×5 prints for 70 cents each.\u00a0 If you click the Small Print box at the upper right you will get more options.<\/p>\n

Additional Options.<\/p><\/div>\n

These options show up after you click the Small Print box. You can choose Standard, Large, and very Large prints.<\/p>\n

Standard Print option.<\/p><\/div>\n

This is the Standard Print option for $5.99. If you choose one of the other options, the Large Print options are 11×14 and 16×20. The Very Large Print Option is 20 x 24. After you choose the print size or sizes, you can check out. If you want Zenfolio to frame or mount a print, they can do that too.<\/p>\n

If the photo you choose has a long aspect ratio, the steps are the same. After you click on the photo you want, choose VISIT SHOP, and then Best Fit. The sizes will be different than in the illustration above in order to match your photo’s long aspect ratio.<\/p>\n
