Metadata is the information a camera attaches to a digital photo when the photo is saved to the camera&#8217;s memory card. At the top of the page is some basic photo information, 40mm focal length, ISO 100, 30 seconds at f\/11. A map on the left show the location of the photo and the GPS coordinates.
