Vermont. October 24, 2017.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Thanks to Michelle and Kim at the Sugar Shack (see my prior post), I was in Norman Rockwell Heaven. I love Norman Rockwell.\u00a0 Before I stopped at the Sugar Shack I did not know Rockwell lived just a few miles away.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_21354\" style=\"width: 710px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blog.jimdoty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/171023-Norman-Rockwell-home-5D3-6562-w7.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-21354\" class=\"wp-image-21354 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.blog.jimdoty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/171023-Norman-Rockwell-home-5D3-6562-w7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"420\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-21354\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Norman Rockwell&#8217;s home.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>I crossed the Arlington covered Bridge and there was Norman Rockwell&#8217;s home. The Rockwells lived her from 1939-1953.\u00a0 There are twin, lookalike homes sitting side by side. Rockwell bought the one to the west. Satellite map.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Rockwell&#8217;s house is south and a little to the west of the yellow &#8220;Rockwell environs&#8221; pin. It is mostly hidden in the trees. The neighbor&#8217;s twin house is to the east of Rockwell&#8217;s house and it is more visible. The winding road to the west of his house goes south to both studios and ends up at a house. The small studio is easily visible and Rockwell&#8217;s studio is more hidden in the trees. To the west you can see the farm that is in my photograph.\u00a0 The Chapel on the Green is north of Rockwell&#8217;s home on the west side of the road.
