When you are photographing a lovely and talented model (or anyone else) at an interesting location, create a lot of images. This is a screen capture of most of the images from a photo shoot with Anoush. If she looks familiar to you, I have shared images of her before (see the links below).<\/p>\n

You don’t want to create just a small handful of images.\u00a0 More time and more images allows for more poses.\u00a0 We created a total of 49 images with multiple poses. A lot of images gives you more to choose from when you pick your favorites.<\/p>\n

It didn’t take a lot of time. The first click of the shutter was at 1:22:52 pm and the last was at 1:31:30 pm, a total of 8 minutes, 38 seconds.\u00a0 That is a photo about once ever 10-11 seconds.\u00a0 That does not count the time walking to and from the beach or the time I spent taking a few landscape photos.\u00a0 When we finished at this photo location we moved on to the next location.<\/p>\n

Dewitt Jones, a wise photographer who did wonderful work for National Geographic<\/em>, said it is good idea to let a few days go by before you pick your favorites. Then let several weeks or months go by and pick your favorites again. Don’t be surprised if some of your favorites change. Some images grow on you over time.<\/p>\n
