Patrick Demarchelier<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

It is with sadness that I note the passing of Patrick Demarchelier. He was one of the best fashion and portrait photographers. He worked with the best of the best fashion models, as well as celebrities. Princess Diana called him “a dream” to work with. When she learned of his death, Cindy Crawford posted an image Demarchelier created of her in India (see below) and wrote: “Thanks for so many great memories and beautiful, timeless images.”<\/p>\n\n\n

Demarchelier worked for almost every major fashion magazine and he photographed ad campaigns for Dior, Louis Vuitton, Celine, TAG Heuer, Chanel, Donna Karan, Yves Saint Laurent, Tommy Hilfiger, Carolina Herrera, Vera Wang, Elizabeth Arden, Zara, Max Azria, Express, Longchamp, Blumarine, Lacoste, Ann Taylor, Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve been acquainted with Demarchelier’s work for a long time. In honor of his memory I have posted several images of his wide ranging work. All of the images below are copyrighted by Demarchelier or his assigns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
