If portrait photography is your thing, this book is a must read.

Portrait Using Colored Gels by Lindsay Adler, Uploaded to Adler’s web site May 2020.

It was like deja vu when I saw this gorgeous portrait by Adler. The lighting and pose is a work of art. I didn’t know about Lindsay Adler when I created my portrait of Lela Rae, but I like to think I was channeling her work back then anyway. I have certainly benefited from her book, blog articles, and videos. When I grow up I want to create images like Lindsay Adler.

Links

Channeling My Inner . . . the link to this series of articles

Lindsay Adler Photography

Lindsay Adler – Editorial Beauty

Lindsay Adler – Blog

Excellent “How To Photograph People” Books

My favorite books on people and portrait photography, including Lindsay Adler’s book, are in this section of my Amazon powered photography store.

I was working in the studio with the beautiful Lela Rae.
