Gathered around are her sons-in-law, all of her grandchildren and some of her great-grand grandchildren. July 15, 2016.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Tiana is a model based in the San Francisco Bay Area and I was in California so I booked a morning photo shoot at the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge. As you know from past posts I am usually there to photograph wading birds, but this was a different kind of shoot. I prefer soft light days for portrait photography, but we had sunshine, so I used the sun to backlight Tiana. I love the sunlight coming through her hair.  This is one of my favorite portraits and one of my two most favorite photos for July 15.
