June 8, 2015.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Two great egrets got into a territorial fight over a favorite feeding area. The upper egret is coming down at the face of the lower egret with his feet. The lower egret barely got out of the way in time. June 8, 2015.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Same location, same day. A great egret comes in for a landing, one wing trailing in the water. This is my other most favorite photo for this date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.blog.jimdoty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/150608-Black-crowned-Night-Heron-7D-6552-w7.jpg\" alt=\"Black-crowned Night Heron\" class=\"wp-image-8017\"\/><figcaption>Black-crowned Night Heron. June 8, 2015. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>And as if that is not enough, this is also the same location, same date. Yes, it was an amazing day. I spotted this  Black-crowned Night Heron feeding along the water&#8217;s edge.
