April 8, 2016.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have been following this series, it will not surprise you to known that I was again out at the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge. But this was a rainy day. There were no wading birds to be seen. It was a gloomy day<\/p>\n\n\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As I sat there listening to the rain, I asked myself the question the great photographer Minor White asked himself, &#8220;What will I be given today?&#8221; The answer turned out to be right in front of me. I literally focused my lens on the rain drops on the windshield, letting the electrical tower go out of focus. As I drove along the refuge road to leave I spotted this California Ground Squirrel.
