January 28, 2012.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I did this image the same day. I used blue cloth as the backdrop and light from a window to camera left. This is another of my most favorite images for this date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.blog.jimdoty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/170128-CA-Trip-5D3-9562b-w7.jpg\" alt=\"Sangre de Cristo Mountains, San Luis Valley, and the Great Sand Dunes.\" class=\"wp-image-14785\"\/><figcaption>Sangre de Cristo Mountains, San Luis Valley, and the Great Sand Dunes.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>We were flying home from California and crossed the Sangre de Cristo Mountains when there was just barely enough light to take a picture. You can also see the Great Sand Dunes.
