January 6, 2014.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>When we go to Fort Irwin, it is my custom to get up early each morning, head out into the Mojave Desert, and take pictures. I wanted to capture some of the volcanic rocks around Mount Blackie and still provide a sense of place. I created this image with my iPhone.
