November 15, 2004.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>I was at a special event at the Kirtland Temple in Kirtland Ohio. My friend Lach was in charge of the Kirtland Temple Historic site, and he was making a presentation. This is my favorite photo for this date.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Kirtland Temple is on the National Register of Historic Places. It was built in the 1830s by Joseph Smith, Jr. and his followers. It was called &#8220;The House of The Lord&#8221;. If you are in northeast Ohio and you are fascinated by historic buildings, it would be well worth your while to stop at the visitor&#8217;s center and take a tour.<\/p>\n<p>This is the second time this building has showed up in this series.
