September 17, 1996.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>It was an amazing morning at Rocky Mountain National Park.\u00c2\u00a0 Sprague Lake is one of my favorite sunrise location with a nice view of the mountains.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I have been going to Sprague Lake for decades but I don&#8217;t think I have ever seen the alpenglow as intense as it was this particular morning. I had just purchased a new Canon 7D Mark II and I was testing its predictive autofocus system before a trip to Colorado.
