The tide comes in as waves.

The sunstar in the sky was not created with a star filter. It is the natural result of using a small aperture with a wide angle lens. As the sunlight enters the lens the rays of light bend every place two aperture blades meet inside the lens, creating a ray of light. More aperture blades in the lens mean more rays of light.

Blue Icebergs, Portage Lake, Alaska.

Turnagain Arm is a great photo location.
