\"\"<\/a>The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic CC Book<\/em><\/strong><\/a> by Martin Evening was released last month. It is the most recent edition of what is far and away the best, most comprehensive book on Adobe Lightroom CC.<\/p>\n

I have two prior editions of this book and there is nothing better on the market. If you want more information than Evening covers in this book, you will need to buy several books that cover different aspects of Lightroom.<\/p>\n

The main difference between this book and the prior edition (The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC \/ Lightroom 6 Book<\/em><\/strong><\/a>) is the addition of information on Lightroom mobile. If mobile is not your thing and you already have Lightroom 6, there is no meed to upgrade to the latest edition.<\/p>\n

On the other hand if you have read a basic introduction to Lightroom, like Kelby’s (below), and you are ready for a more comprehensive, advanced book, it is time to get one of the two latest editions of Evening’s book. Since the price is essentially the same, I would suggest you get the latest edition.<\/p>\n

Everything I said about Evening’s Lightroom book is true of Evening’s book on Photoshop CC: Adobe Photoshop CC for Photographers<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. There is not a better, more comprehensive, single Photoshop book on the market. If you want more information than Evening covers in his Photoshop book, you will need to buy several books that cover different aspects of Photoshop. Evening’s books are two of the four books I recommend as Photoshop\/Lightroom essentials<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>There is one caveat to Evening’s books. Some reviewers consider Evening’s books too complex for newbies. There is some truth to that. If you are truly a beginner at Lightroom, you should get The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC Book for Digital Photographers<\/em><\/strong><\/a> by Scott Kelby. If you already have some acquaintance with Lightroom, or if you are already handy at Photoshop that is enough background to dive in and get Evening’s book.<\/p>\n

The same is true If you are a true beginner at Photoshop. Get The Adobe Photoshop CC Book for Digital Photographers<\/em><\/strong><\/a> by Scott Kelby.<\/p>\n
