Depending on the weather, there will be more sightings as the months go by and the owls will move farther south. Each year is a little different and last year was quite good. Click on a pin to get specific details of that sighting. This map shows all the sightings for 2016 around Saginaw, Bay City and Akron Michigan. The labeled blue pin shows where I was in February when I photographed the Snowy Owl at the top of this article.
