Michael Covington wrote two of my favorite astrophotography books: Astrophotography for the Amateur<\/em><\/a> and Digital SLR Astrophotography<\/em><\/a>. I have the original version. It is an excellent guide, the exposure recommendations are still good, and I still use it as a reference. I do not have newer digital version, so I can\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t speak about it from personal experience but the reviews at Amazon are very good.<\/p>\n
