What’s Wrong With This Picture?

Ah yes, “The Big Thrill of Montana”. Except for one, teeny, tiny detail. Do you know what is wrong with this Facebook post by Travel and Leisure?

This is the third time in the last several days I’ve noticed an article with a photo that didn’t match the location. What’s up with photo editors lately? Do they even bother to check the locations of the photos they use?

It all started last week when I spotted an article on the U.S. National Parks but the headline photo was taken at a famous lake in Canada. That was followed a couple of days later with another photo mismatch.

And now this one which I spotted today. This is a photo of the Grand Tetons in Wyoming. With all the beautiful photos of mountains in Montana you would think they could have found one to headline this article.
