I recently batch registered a bunch of photos with the U.S. copyright Office. Once again the process has been changed slightly to make the process slightly less complicated. That doesn’t mean the process has become simple and if you haven’t registered photos with the copyright office some guidance is especially helpful before you try this the first time.
Registering your images with the copyright office is important if you want to protect your photos. If you are ready to work your way through the process, I have some advice in this recently updated article. The first time you go through the process take your time, be careful not to make any mistakes, and follow along with one or both printed guides that I recommend. That will save you a lot of frustration in the long run.
